Today we reinforced the engine mounts and got the engines lined up better. We also ditched the to diff direction spinning idea.

In addition we started to attatch the foot rests which are very loosly mocked up at the moment. We know they stick out to the sides a little far, but we wanted to errr, prevent stickage, along with giving the more harleyish feel. We are going to get a better seat as we find the liberator II to be, well, anything but liberating.

Hurrrrrrrrrray!!!!! Today we mounted the engines on our bike. Well, we had to cut out the frame and replace it with the angle iron as per government specs of course.

We have not decided whether this will be the final chain setup(will if we can start the engine backwards) otherwise we will work out something else.

Today we ran the cables, which will still need to be slightly trimmed, from the brake setup. But thats not all, we also cut this big aluminum plate in half an remounted our vice which half crushed my foot. It only took 3 hours to do all this.

We have recieved literally thousands of requests for pictures of our shop which we build these top secret government contracted projects in. Here are a few. Note that this is usually much messier, we arent wusses or anything:

They are a little small, but our super expensive image hosting engine also known as photobucket is currently inopperative and I can afford to spend the time to manually downsize the image, it could cost our company millions.

Today Dan and I got a lot of work done in relation to the throttle system. Here are some pics for which I will give crappy descriptions. But don't worry, if you don't understand it from the pictures than you shouldn't really care.

First we have the twist throttle mounted up in the front. That is pretty straight forward. Ideally the farther you turn it the faster you go. The yellow button makes the engine(or in this case, engines) stop.

Next: These are the two brake handles mounted in the back. The throttle wire comes up between them, from each break handle a throttle line will be run to the individual engines. This will allow us to give the individual engines more gas when starting them(seperatly).

Finally: These are closeups of how we ran the throttle line. This part is not something the average Joe can do. We had to use a 5,000 dollar milling machine to precisly drill out and cut the bolt that only big shops like us can afford to use.

This week we beefed up our engine mount a fair amount and mocked it in place very loosly. Today I ordered new mounting bolts for the tranny(lost the old ones) and a new clutch kit for one of the engines(shoes wore down). I would like to add that if you are doing a project like this or any work on your scooter, we get all of our parts at www.scooterparts4less.com and would like to thank Randy Wong, who has always shipped out the correct order ASAP and responded nearly instantly to every email we sent. Thanks Randy.

It is two days after work was started on the twin engine moped! I took some pictures of the the two engines and transmissions on top of the mounting bracket, which is far from finished. There is also a picture of the bike without the crank arms or front wheel. The mounting bracket already fits in the center of the bike frame. Keep visiting for weekly updates(at least)

Hi, this is mike here. This is my first post on our BBgarage site. We will post some of our past creations up soon, but our future projects include finishing up the nearly complete snow mobile, and of course starting work on the Jet-Kart.
